Scenes from Confinement is a project of audiovisual correspondences that revisits the unusual experiences of confinement from the perspective of a group of spectators. This project was born to socialise the experiences of confinement during the time of the pandemic, and to explore the aesthetic realm as a space of interruption and questioning of hegemonic narratives.

The project proposes a virtual platform for sharing perceptions, experiences and everyday images that question the "new normal". If the actors of confinement are dragged to perform the official protocol of action? What can we, the spectators, do from the state of suspension of life that defines us? How do we conduct our gaze, and how can we rehearse a critical and aesthetic gaze on the present?
